We just want to take a moment to go back in time, to the time Kevin Butler went to, this present day Kevin Butler (confused, well, it's kinda hard to explain time travel).
We recently came across this old PlayStation Move commercial, and well, I personally have never seen it before, and it's just a huge smack in the face for Xbox's Kinect, and Nintendo Wii.

Early Opinions About Kinect
Here at The Three States, we've had a Kinect
here for about a week, and we've been playing around with it. Here's our early opinion of Kinect
;
- It's fun.
- Tracks movement very accurately.
- As most already know, hands-free.
- Nice piano finish!
- Future potential.
- Enhanced, Microsoft version of Eye-Toy
.
- Takes a lot of ground-room, you'll probably have to rearrange all your furniture before you play.
- The games aren't too good (but okay, for now), best probably being Kinect Adventures
(Kinectimals
just being creepy).
- Most games have been already done on other motion controller systems, such as Wii
, or PlayStation Move
.
- No feedback, no controller to physically hold makes it feel awkward (although, that's just my opinion).
- Pricey, costs $150 (might be worth it when more games come out).
Overall, we weren't to satisfied, but there is potential behind Kinect
, but for now, $150 just isn't worth it.
Note: This is not our official review! These are just early impressions the Kinect made on our staff!
